The rule

Two small buckles at the sides adjust the cap from 52 to 62 cm (20.5–24.4 in). That covers almost every adult head — small, average, large. There is no size to pick and nothing to get wrong.

1. Take a cap that already gets worn. Measure the inside of the band with a tape measure. Anything between 52 and 62 cm (20.5–24.4 in) fits.
2. No tape? Use a piece of string around the head, just above the ears and eyebrows. Mark it, lay it against a ruler.
3. Somewhere between 52 and 62 cm (20.5 and 24.4 in)? Done. Order.

How to set it

Put it on. Slide both buckles until it sits snug — not tight — then leave them. The band holds. You won't touch them again.
